Job Description

We are seeking a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician for a full-time locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Apr 1, 2026, for 160 days. This opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8am-5pm, and involves working alongside a Nurse Practitioner in an inpatient rehab setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide consultative care for patients recovering from minor trauma, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery, respiratory illness, stroke, spinal cord injury, trauma, orthopedic cases, and general deconditioning
  • Perform injections, blocks, orthotics, and casting as needed
  • Round daily on patients within the rehabilitation unit
  • Collaborate with a Nurse Practitioner for patient management
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team, with medical management supported by the hospitalist team
  • Manage a patient caseload of up to 14 patients per day


Additional Information

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation required
  • Must be licensed to practice in Ohio
