We are seeking a skilled Podiatrist for a locum tenens assignment in California, beginning Jan 19, 2026. This 120-day opportunity features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with an 8-hour daily schedule. The role primarily focuses on chronic care, including high-volume diabetic foot care, ulcer management, wound care, and regular foot exams, which are essential for FQHCs.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive podiatric care with an emphasis on chronic conditions

  • Manage and treat ulcers and wounds of the foot and ankle
  • Deliver ongoing care and treatment planning for patients with chronic lower extremity issues
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams as needed to optimize patient outcomes

Additional Information

  • Must hold an active California license
  • Board Certification in Podiatric Medicine required
  • American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS) certification required
  • Experience in chronic care management, diabetic foot care, ulcer management, and wound care strongly preferred
