Job Description

We are seeking a licensed Podiatrist for a locum tenens assignment in Illinois, beginning Dec 22, 2025. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule, with one day per month to start (Monday to Friday, 8:30AM–4PM), and a 3-day assignment length. The Podiatrist will provide care to elderly patients in assisted living and nursing home settings.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform routine nail maintenance, including nail trimming, in-grown nail treatment, and nail infection treatment
  • Provide diabetic foot care, including treatment of diabetic ulcers and diabetic neuropathy
  • Treat other foot-related injuries and conditions, such as corns, calluses, and wounds
  • No prescribing required
  • Serve elderly patients in assisted living and nursing home environments

Additional Information
  • Illinois license required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Elderly care experience preferred
  • 1 year of residency completed preferred
  • EMR: Nextgen
