Job Description

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a dedicated Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for a 2-day assignment starting May 26, 2026. This role involves 9am-1pm shifts, where you will conduct physicals, patient bios, and manage existing patient check-ins. Key responsibilities include daily patient intakes (between 45-75 minutes, 90 max), existing patient check-ins (10-15 minutes), and potentially changing medications or SSRIs. The provider may also need to perform brief physicals to ensure patient safety, focusing on psych evals, medication management, and weekly patient follow-ups.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Starting the day with physicals and patient bios.
  • Existing patient check-ins.
  • Daily patient intakes (Between 45-75 minutes, 90 max).
  • Daily existing patient check-ins (10-15 minutes).
  • Provider may need to change medications and SSRIs.
  • Provider may need to conduct brief physicals to ensure patient is safe to be there.

  • Shift hours: 9am-1pm
  • Type of cases: Psych eval, medication management, weekly check-ins. It is possible to combine the H&P and nursing assessment.
