Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Psychiatry Needed in MA

Job Description

Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for a 3-day assignment starting May 26, 2026. This role involves 9am-1pm shifts where you will conduct patient physicals, bios, daily intakes (45-90 minutes), and existing patient check-ins (10-15 minutes). Duties include changing medications/SSRIs and performing brief physicals to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Start the day with physicals and patient bios
• Conduct daily patient intakes (between 45-75 minutes, 90 max)
• Perform daily existing patient check-ins (10-15 minutes)
• Change medications and SSRIs as needed
• Conduct brief physicals to ensure patient safety
• See cases for psych evaluations, medication management, and weekly check-ins
• Potentially combine H&P and nursing assessments
