Job Description
We are seeking a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in New Mexico, starting Jan 5, 2026. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with 8am-5pm day shifts. The ideal candidate will provide behavioral health care for children and adults in a rural health setting.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide behavioral health services (bread and butter psychiatry) to both pediatric and adult patients
- Prescribe medications for children and adults (no suboxone)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams in a rural health FQHC environment
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Adhere to all clinical protocols and standards of care
Additional Information
- Experience in rural health FQHC settings is highly valued
- Must have active New Mexico license
- Required board certification in Psychiatry
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
