Job Description

Our client in New York is actively seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a 24-day assignment beginning Mar 23, 2026. This role involves providing essential psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and prescriptive services through home visits, with shifts typically running from 9 AM to 5 PM or 6 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Drive to patients' homes or current place of residency.
• Perform medication management, psychiatric evaluations, and provide prescriptive services.
• Conduct home visits for psychiatric assessments, medication management, and long-lasting injectables.
• Engage with patients within ACT teams and manage severe diagnoses including Schizophrenia, bipolar, and schizoaffective disorders.
• Interact with patients who may be verbally aggressive, but not physically aggressive.
