Job Description

Our client in New York is seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a 15-day assignment starting Apr 27, 2026. This role involves providing essential psychiatric care through home visits, including medication management, psych evaluations, and prescriptive services, with shifts typically running from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct home visits to patients at their residences.
• Perform psychiatric assessments, medication management, and provide prescriptive services.
• Administer long-lasting injectables.
• Care for patients with severe diagnoses including Schizophrenia, bipolar, and schizoaffective disorders.
• Manage situations involving potentially verbally aggressive patients while ensuring no physically aggressive patients are encountered.
