We are seeking an experienced Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Washington. This role starts on Dec 1, 2025, and offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, in an outpatient ambulatory community health center setting. The assignment involves providing psychiatric care across the lifespan, with no call responsibilities and the potential for extension beyond the initial contract period.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, including substance use disorders, across the lifespan
• Deliver comprehensive psychiatric care to patients in a community health center outpatient setting
• Initiate patient care independently following a brief onsite orientation period
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams as needed

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Psychiatry required
• Active Washington state license and DEA required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Must have recent face-to-face patient care experience as a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner within the past year
• Clean background with no malpractice history required
