Job Description
We are seeking a Psychiatrist for a 12-week locum tenens assignment in Georgia, starting Oct 27, 2025. This remote opportunity offers flexible scheduling of 3–6 hours per week within the hours of 9:30am–4pm, Monday through Friday. Providers will support patients with common mental health conditions through brief, focused evaluations and medication management.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Meet remotely with patients experiencing mental health conditions such as depression and anxiety
- Conduct brief psychiatric evaluations and medication management sessions (15–30 minutes per patient)
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient history, symptoms, and clinical judgment
- Complete thorough and timely chart notes and documentation (typically 15–30 minutes per session)
- Monitor patient progress, adjust medications as appropriate, and provide supportive psychoeducation
- Maintain professional standards of care, patient privacy, and ethical telehealth practice
- Experience with depressed and suicidal patients is a plus
- Comfortable prescribing when appropriate
