Job Description
Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a Psychiatrist for a 120-day assignment starting Jun 12, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Friday 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM schedule, focusing on acute psychiatric care, managing a 10:1 ratio of follow-ups to new evaluations, and treating a diverse range of psychiatric disorders using various therapeutic techniques.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Maintain a 10:1 ratio of follow-up appointments to new patient evaluations.
- Provide care within an acute psychiatric unit/institute setting.
- Manage clinical areas including anxiety disorders, affective disorder, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, development disorders, psychotic disorders, and organic disorders.
- Demonstrate familiarity with involuntary commitments, seclusion therapy, and restraint application.
- Utilize a range of treatment techniques, including pharmacotherapy, group therapy, family therapy, and ECT.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required.
- EMR system used: Cerner.
