Locum Tenens Physician - Psychiatrist Needed in MI

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatrist for a rewarding 120-day locum tenens assignment in Michigan, commencing Mar 9, 2026. This role involves comprehensive psych evaluations and medication management follow-ups, with consistent 8am-5pm shifts. The chosen Physician will contribute to continuous patient care by managing a structured daily schedule.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform psych evaluations and medication management follow-ups for adult and child patients.
• Ensure timely completion of all documentation, preferably within 24 hours, and strictly within 72 hours.
• Conduct follow-up appointments (30 minutes), adult new evaluations (1 hour), and child new evaluations (1-1.5 hours).
• Utilize dedicated administrative time daily from 11:30am-12pm and 4:30pm-5pm.
• Manage patient schedule with the last follow-up appointment concluding at 4pm.
