Responsibilities and Duties
Provide psychiatric assessments and treatment for acute unit patients with civil commitments
Manage a caseload of 12–20 patients per day in the admissions unit
Treat a range of diagnoses including general psychiatric disorders, schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, bipolar disorder, and personality disorders
Coordinate care and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as required
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital standards
Maintain a high standard of care for adult inpatient populations
Additional Information
Must hold an active Montana medical license
Clean background with inpatient and state hospital experience required
Board certification in Psychiatry required
