We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist for a locum tenens position at a multi-specialty clinic in Ohio. This 56-day assignment begins on 07/14/2025, and involves both inpatient rounding and medical floor consults from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Sunday. The role also includes overnight call duties (no call-back) each night. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a variety of psychiatric conditions, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, co-occurring disorders, and substance abuse. This facility also utilizes the Epic EMR system.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Conduct inpatient rounding and medical floor consults
• Manage an inpatient psychiatric unit
• Respond to calls from a unit within the ED
• Provide overnight call coverage (0-3 calls per night)
• Diagnose and treat various psychiatric conditions, including bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, and co-occurring disorders
• Address substance abuse issues
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Additional Information:
• Ohio medical license required
• Experience in inpatient psychiatry preferred
• Strong skills in managing diverse psychiatric conditions essential
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
