Locum Tenens Physician - Psychiatrist Needed in OH

Job Description

Our client in Ohio is seeking a Psychiatrist for a 120-day assignment starting Mar 9, 2026. This Physician will provide inpatient coverage during 8-hour shifts and participate in a 1:4 call rotation, handling admissions, discharges, and offering consult-liaison services to adult patients with diverse psychiatric and co-occurring disorders.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient coverage.
• Participate in a 1:4 call rotation.
• Manage an inpatient unit, comprising of psychiatric beds and addiction medicine beds.
• Treat adult patients with conditions such as bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD, co-occurring disorders, and some substance abuse.
• Occasionally see dual diagnosis patients.
• Handle patient discharges and admissions.
• Provide Consult-Liaison service coverage for medical/surgical psychiatric consult requests.
• Collaborate with an associated Addictionologist.
