Locum Tenens Psychologist - NY Needed in NY

Job Description

Our client in New York is seeking a dedicated Psychologist for a 56-day assignment starting Apr 28, 2026. This role involves working collaboratively within a team of therapists, managing a caseload primarily focused on pediatric patients aged 2-18, and diagnosing conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. Shifts are structured from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work collaboratively with a team of therapists and another psychologist.
• Manage a caseload of pediatric patients aged 2-18.
• Diagnose anxiety disorders, including social phobias, separation anxiety, and general anxiety.
• Diagnose depression, ADHD, and OCD.
• Address specialized cases such as Autism Spectrum Disorders, disruptive behaviors, trauma, and stress.
• Conduct new consultations with a timeframe of 90 minutes.
• Perform follow-up consultations with a timeframe of 45-60 minutes.
