Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Psychologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in South Dakota, starting Dec 22, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule, 8am to 5pm, providing care in a collaborative behavioral health environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in pediatrics, family counseling, and medication-assisted treatment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide pediatric and family counseling services
  • Conduct social detox evaluations and medication updates

  • Administer injections as needed
  • Perform follow-up appointments with patients every 1 to 3 months
  • Support medication-assisted treatment (MAT) programs
  • Collaborate with on-site behavioral health nurses and psychiatric nurse practitioners
  • Manage prescription refills and therapy sessions
