We are seeking a licensed Psychologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in South Dakota, starting Mar 16, 2026. This opportunity offers day shifts, Monday through Friday, with a schedule of 8am to 5pm. The role involves providing pediatric and family counseling, working closely with a behavioral health nurse and a psychiatric nurse practitioner in a collaborative environment. Prior IHS or tribal experience is required; new graduates will not be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide pediatric and family counseling services
- Conduct therapy sessions for diverse patient populations
- Manage medication-assisted treatment (MAT)
- Prescribe naltrexone, administer injections, and oversee social detox
- Perform patient evaluations and medication updates
- Handle prescription refills and manage ADHD medication regimens
- Conduct follow-up appointments with patients every 1 to 3 months
- Collaborate with onsite behavioral health nurse and psychiatric nurse practitioner
