Locum Tenens Physician - Pulmonologist Needed in KY

Job Description

We are seeking a Pulmonologist for a locum tenens assignment in Kentucky, beginning Sep 29, 2025, for an 84-day contract. The schedule follows a 7 on / 7 off model with day shifts from 8am to 5pm. This role focuses on providing pulmonary consults and managing cases in an ICU setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide pulmonary consults for ICU patients
• Manage cases in an ICU
• Perform oral/nasal intubation
• Conduct thoracentesis and bronchoscopy with biopsy
• Place central venous and arterial lines
• Perform arterial puncture
• Manage ventilators
• Conduct tube thoracostomy procedures

Additional Information

• Must have completed pulmonary training
• ICU experience with case logs required within the last 2 years
• Kentucky medical license required
• Board certification in Pulmonary Disease is required
• Experience with Meditech EHR preferred
