We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Pulmonologist for a 96-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon. Starting Feb 17, 2026, this opportunity offers a Tuesday through Friday schedule with 8am to 5pm shifts. The role focuses on ambulatory pulmonology and sleep medicine, with responsibilities that include managing chronic pulmonary disease and providing limited inpatient consults in a solo-physician setting.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and manage ambulatory pulmonology and sleep medicine patients
  • Provide limited inpatient pulmonology consults
  • Manage chronic pulmonary disease, including COPD and Medicare-heavy populations
  • Collaborate with pulmonary rehab, respiratory therapy, and clinic MA support staff
  • Serve as a referral and consultative resource for CMH providers


Additional Information

  • Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Disease required
  • Current clinical experience in community-based pulmonology essential
  • Must be comfortable practicing independently in a solo-physician model
  • Experience interpreting pulmonary function tests in an ambulatory setting required
  • Prior experience with inpatient consults and collaboration with pulmonary rehab and respiratory therapy teams strongly preferred
  • Oregon medical license required
