We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 130-day locum tenens assignment in Colorado, starting Feb 2, 2026. This opportunity features an 8-hour day shift, Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. The selected doctor will deliver high-quality patient care in both hospital and clinic settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Function independently to provide patient-centric care across various settings, including in-person and telehealth modalities
  • Gather patient history, perform physical exams, and review prior records and ancillary data using critical problem-solving skills
  • Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans; communicate effectively with patients, families, and the care team
  • Offer education and counseling to patients and families regarding care plans, treatments, and discharge processes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and leadership to maintain safe, coordinated patient care
  • Assist collaborating physicians with inpatient management according to site policies and scope of practice
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and documentation guidelines
  • May be asked to float to other departments within scope and qualifications or be on-call during scheduled shifts
  • Uphold the mission, vision, and values of the organization and adhere to service behavior standards

Additional Information
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school and residency training in radiation oncology required
  • Active Colorado medical license required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA certification required
  • Regular on-site attendance and ability to work nights and weekends for identified positions
