We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 260-day locum tenens assignment in Colorado, starting Mar 16, 2026. This full-time opportunity features a Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm schedule, with shared weekend call expectations. The role involves providing collaborative, high-quality care in both hospital and clinic settings.
Function independently to deliver patient-centric, high-quality care across various settings and modalities, including in-person, telephone, video, or secure email
Gather patient history, conduct physical exams, review prior records and ancillary data, and use critical problem-solving to guide care
Develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans while communicating effectively with patients, families, and care teams
Provide efficient and compassionate care utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach for communication, continuity, coordination, and evaluation
Educate and counsel patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge processes
Collaborate with healthcare team members, leadership, and medical staff to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
Assist collaborating physicians in hospital management of patients within the approved scope of practice
Maintain documentation and practice in accordance with regulatory and care site guidelines
Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of the client and uphold service behavior standards
Float to other departments within scope as needed and participate in on-call rotations
Additional Information
Required Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine; residency trained in Radiation Oncology
Licensure: Must hold a current license to practice medicine in Colorado
Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA registration required
