Job Description

We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Oct 6, 2025, featuring a Monday to Friday schedule, from 8:00 AM until the last patient around 4:30 PM. The role involves morning team meetings, tumor boards, consults, new and follow-up appointments, with an average daily caseload that includes 2 new consults and 3 to 5 follow-ups.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Participate in morning team meetings and tumor boards.
  • Conduct initial consults and follow-up appointments.
  • Manage an average of 2 new consults and 3-5 follow-ups per day.
  • Perform status checks and review of Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT).
  • Handle occasional clinical setups.
  • Oversee treatment for approximately 25-30 patients.

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Radiation Oncology.
  • Required to have a Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
  • Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Epic and Mosaiq.
