Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Radiation Oncologist for a locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This opportunity begins on Feb 2, 2026, for a 60-day assignment, offering day shifts Monday through Friday. The schedule includes 8am start times with the last patient seen around 4:30pm, supporting a busy patient volume in an established clinical setting.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Participate in morning team meetings and tumor boards
  • Conduct approximately 2 new consults and 3-5 follow-up appointments per day
  • Perform status checks and review of CBCT
  • Oversee occasional clinical setups
  • Manage a daily treatment volume of approximately 25-30 patients
  • Utilize Epic and Mosaiq EMR systems for documentation

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Radiation Oncology (ABR)
  • Active North Carolina medical license required
  • DEA certification required
  • Previous experience with Epic and Mosaiq preferred
