Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncologist Physician to join our client in New York for a 60-day assignment, commencing May 11, 2026. This vital role focuses on delivering comprehensive cancer care, encompassing the diagnosis of various cancers, the creation of tailored radiation therapy plans, the administration of advanced treatments like stereotactic radiosurgery, and diligent monitoring of patient outcomes. Typical shifts for this position are 8a-4p or 9a-5:30p.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Diagnose cancer by evaluating patients medical history and conducting diagnostic tests.
  • Develop personalized radiation therapy plans based on the type, stage, and location of cancer.
  • Administer radiation therapy, executing treatments such as stereotactic radiosurgery and other advanced methods.
  • Monitor patient progress, tracking the effectiveness of the treatment and making necessary adjustments.
  • Manage side effects, providing care and managing potential side effects of radiation therapy.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, working with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care.
  • Conduct research, engaging in studies related to radiation oncology to improve patient outcomes.
