Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist for a 150-day locum tenens assignment in Oregon, starting Dec 1, 2025. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 3 to 4 days per week on site, with telehealth available for remaining days, and standard day shifts Monday through Friday.

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm or 9:00am to 5:00pm; work 3 to 4 days on site, telehealth available for remaining days

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct initial patient consultations, including reviewing medical histories and diagnostic tests (CT, MRI, PET scans, biopsy results)
  • Perform physical examinations to determine appropriate radiation therapy approaches
  • Collaborate with on-site medical assistants and scribes for treatment planning
  • Supervise the daily administration of radiation therapy by radiation therapists
  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with surgeons, medical oncologists, and other specialists to ensure comprehensive cancer care

Additional Information
  • Must be board certified in Radiation Oncology
  • Several years of experience in radiation oncology required
  • Must hold a current Oregon medical license
