Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Radiation Oncologist for a 3-week locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania. This assignment begins on Dec 22, 2025, with day shifts from 8a-5p, providing vacation coverage. The Radiation Oncologist will manage both on-treatment and follow-up patients, consults, and is expected to demonstrate proficiency with Varian Radiation Oncology products and linear accelerator operations.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • See on-treatment, follow-up, and consult patients
  • Review and approve films and related documentation
  • Contour and approve dosimetry
  • Treat and stimulate patients as required
  • Review films, dictate reports, and perform eclipse planning
  • Delineate treatment areas and prescribe appropriate doses

Additional Information
  • Must have a current Pennsylvania medical license
  • Linear Accelerator license required
  • Experience with Linear Accelerator and CT Simulator (3D CRT)
  • Familiarity with Varian Radiation Oncology products preferred
  • Must possess Basic Life Support (BLS) and Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certifications
  • Board certification in Radiation Oncology required
  • Candidates should be computer savvy
