Job Description

We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 10-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia, starting Dec 22, 2025. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with day shifts, typically from 8am until the last patient is treated, usually by 4:30pm. The assignment involves a mix of on-treatment visits, new consults, and follow-ups. Candidates should have recent experience in radiation oncology and current certifications in ACLS and BLS.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct 25-30 on-treatment visits once per week
  • See 6-8 patients daily, including new consults and follow-ups
  • Perform 5-7 new consults per week
  • Manage 10-15 follow-up patients per week (with some follow-ups potentially rescheduled to the permanent provider)
  • Deliver high-quality patient care consistent with the standards of radiation oncology

Additional Information
  • Must hold a valid West Virginia medical license
  • Required board certification in Radiation Oncology
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Recent experience in radiation oncology preferred
