 A multi-specialty clinic in Ohio is seeking a skilled Radiologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment to assist during a critical situation. Starting on 05/26/2025, this role requires coverage 7 days a week, from 7 PM to 7 AM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable performing preliminary reads, particularly for CT scans, in a unique setting where direct access to the CT scanner is required due to a recent cyber attack affecting the facility's computer systems. This position offers an opportunity for a radiologist to provide essential services in a challenging environment, with the possibility of extended coverage beyond the initial 30 days.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Perform preliminary reads of CT scans and other imaging studies

• Work directly alongside CT scanning equipment due to current IT limitations

• Provide accurate and timely interpretations of radiological examinations

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

• Adapt to working in a unique environment with limited technological resources

• Maintain clear communication with referring physicians and other staff members

• Adhere to all facility policies and procedures, especially those related to the current situation

• Ensure compliance with safety and radiation protection protocols

• Provide expert consultation on imaging findings as needed

• Assist in managing the workflow of imaging studies during night shifts

• Contribute to the continuity of care during the facility's recovery from the cyber attack


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice medicine in Ohio

• Board certification in Radiology required

• Experience in emergency or after-hours radiology preferred

• Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills essential

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
