Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Feb 23, 2026. This full-time opportunity offers a Monday to Friday schedule, 8am-4:30pm, and involves a balance of interventional radiology procedures and general diagnostics.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Interpret studies from the general worklist when not performing procedures or fluoroscopy
  • Perform basic CT/ultrasound-guided procedures, including:
  • Abscess drainages
  • Biopsies (lung, liver, kidney, thyroid FNA)
  • Chest tube placements
  • Lumbar punctures and myelograms
  • Paracentesis, thoracentesis
  • Nephrostomy tube exchanges and placements
  • Suprapubic catheter placements
  • PICC, port, and dialysis catheter placements
  • Conduct all fluoroscopy examinations
  • Complete approximately 12 procedures and 10 fluoroscopy cases weekly

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology required
  • Active Ohio license or IMLC accepted (must be in hand)
  • 3 years of experience required
  • Must provide 2 references and NPDB self-query
  • Proficiency with PACS (AGFA EI), Powerscribe 360 voice recognition, and EPIC EMR
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Minimum commitment of at least 1 week per month for a 6-month contract, with an option to extend
