Schedule: 5-10 shifts per month; 7am-5:30pm and 5:30pm-7am; 14 shifts monthly (12-hour shifts)
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform advanced trauma life support in an acute care setting
Conduct tube thoracostomy and central venous catheter placements; arterial line placement preferred
Deliver care to trauma surgery patients as part of a multidisciplinary team
Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Cerner EMR
Ensure adherence to all required safety, quality, and compliance protocols
Additional Information
Board certification in surgery required
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification required
DEA certification required
No new graduates; prior experience necessary
Must hold an active North Carolina license
