We are seeking a Trauma Surgery Nurse Practitioner for a 184-day locum tenens assignment in Washington. This opportunity begins on Aug 1, 2025, featuring a 7 on/7 off schedule from 7 am to 5 pm. The role focuses on pre-op, post-op care, consults, and rounding in an inpatient setting, requiring a provider equipped to handle a dynamic and challenging environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative care and consultations
• Participate in daily rounding on surgical patients
• Manage care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to plan and implement patient care
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of patient care activities
• Utilize Epic EMR system for patient record management

Additional Information

• Must be licensed to practice in Washington
• Experience in Trauma Surgery or related fields preferred
• Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team
