Responsibilities and Duties
Perform advanced trauma life support procedures
Demonstrate proficiency with tube thoracostomy and central venous catheter placement; arterial line placement preferred
Manage acute surgical and trauma cases in collaboration with the surgical team
Provide comprehensive patient care in accordance with ATLS protocols
Accurately document clinical findings and care in Cerner EMR
Maintain compliance with all relevant board and state requirements
Additional Information
Active NC license and board certification in Surgery required
Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and DEA certification required
No new graduates; prior trauma experience expected
