We are seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in Urgent Care for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California. This role offers the opportunity to handle a variety of cases similar to those found in an emergency department, minus the crash cart, with CT, Ultrasound, and labs available on-site.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide comprehensive patient care in an urgent care setting
  • Manage a range of cases including acute, non-life-threatening conditions
  • Utilize modern diagnostic tools including CT and Ultrasound
  • Perform routine laboratory tests and interpret results
  • See patients of all ages, including newborns
  • Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR system

Additional Information
  • National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner required
  • Must hold ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications, all through the American Heart Association
  • DEA certification required
  • Board certified in Family Medicine
