We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California. This opportunity starts on Nov 10, 2025, with day shifts from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. Candidates must have recent urgent care experience, prior locum tenens work, and experience in FQHC, rural health, or IHS settings. Active California licensure and a current DEA with furnishing license are required.

Responsibilities and Duties
Provide urgent care services for a diverse patient population
Deliver care to a patient base that is approximately 75 percent Spanish-speaking, with support from translators and Spanish-speaking medical assistants
Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and initiate appropriate treatments
Prescribe medications in accordance with California regulations and under an active DEA and furnishing license
Collaborate effectively with clinical staff to ensure continuity of care
Maintain accurate and timely patient records

Recent experience in FQHC, rural health, or IHS settings preferred
Active California Nurse Practitioner license, DEA registration, and furnishing license required
