Responsibilities and Duties
Provide urgent care services for patients across the lifespan
Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of acute and chronic conditions
Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate and timely patient records
Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards
Additional Information
Active Nurse Practitioner license required for California
Board certification in Family Medicine required
Certifications needed: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and active DEA registration
Urgent care experience required; family practice experience required; emergency room experience encouraged
