Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide urgent care services for patients across the lifespan
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a range of acute and chronic conditions
- Perform examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications as appropriate
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records
- Adhere to clinical protocols and safety standards
Additional Information
- Active Nurse Practitioner license required for California
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Certifications needed: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and active DEA registration
- Urgent care experience required; family practice experience required; emergency room experience encouraged
