Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 24-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Mar 20, 2026. This role involves managing primary care in an FQHC setting with a focus on rural health aspects, requiring the ability to handle multiple patient complaints per visit across all age groups, including Spanish-speaking patients. The schedule is Friday from 8am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide primary care services within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health considerations.
• Manage multiple patient complaints, potentially 3 or more per visit.
• See a diverse patient population, including all ages, with a particular need for Spanish speaking capability.
• Perform minimal primary care procedures; full scope procedures are handled by other providers on site.
