We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join our client in Georgia for a 96-day assignment starting Mar 16, 2026. This role involves working 8a-7p shifts, providing essential urgent care and family medicine services, with some limited occupational medicine duties. The successful candidate will manage a variety of patient cases typical in an urgent care setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide urgent care services for common conditions such as scrapes, burns, and lacerations
Diagnose and treat cold, cough, flu, COVID-19 symptoms, and strep throat
Address sinus infections, earaches, and allergies
Manage sprains, strains, minor fractures, and sports injuries
Treat minor burns, cuts, lacerations, and perform foreign body removal
Evaluate and treat skin rashes, insect bites, and minor infections
Diagnose and manage urinary tract infections (UTIs) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
Care for patients experiencing nausea, vomiting, and other digestive concerns
Perform suturing as needed
