Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 96-day assignment in Georgia, starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care and family medicine services, with shifts from 8 AM to 7 PM. The successful candidate will manage a variety of cases, including minor injuries, illnesses, and limited occupational health needs.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide urgent care and family medicine services.
  • Manage acute conditions such as colds, flu, strep throat, and COVID-19 symptoms.
  • Treat sinus infections, earaches, and allergies.
  • Evaluate and manage sprains, strains, minor fractures, and sports injuries.
  • Address minor burns, cuts, lacerations, and perform foreign body removal.
  • Diagnose and treat skin rashes, insect bites, and minor infections.
  • Manage urinary tract infections (UTIs) and sexually transmitted infections (STIs).
  • Assess and treat nausea, vomiting, and other digestive concerns.
  • Perform suturing as needed for lacerations.
  • Handle limited occupational medicine cases.


Additional Information

  • Board Certifications required in Family Medicine or Urgent Care.
  • Experience with Athenahealth EMR system.
