Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in Montana, starting Mar 23, 2026. In this role, you will work Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day, providing comprehensive urgent care services. Key duties include preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, reproductive health services, mental health and substance use treatment, and in-office procedures, primarily focusing on walk-in and urgent care visits.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive urgent care services to beneficiaries on an outpatient basis
- Manage preventive care, chronic disease management, pediatric care, reproductive health services, mental health, and substance use treatment
- Perform in-office procedures
- Focus on walk-in and urgent care visits, including acute illnesses, minor injuries, and episodic care
- Deliver limited preventive services
- Utilize clinical experience in mental health, chronic pain, and chronic disease management
Additional Information
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Urgent Care required
- EMR: RPMS
- Due to cultural considerations within the community served, there is a strong preference for male candidates to help ensure culturally appropriate access to care
