Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina. This role commences on Aug. 25, 2025, and features a full-time schedule, covering 12-hour shifts during weekdays from 8am to 8pm and weekends from 8am to 4pm. The Nurse Practitioner will be working autonomously in a clinic setting, managing over 40 patients per day, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Independently manage and care for a diverse patient population in an urgent care setting.

  • Utilize Epic EMR system to document patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff including medical assistants and front desk personnel to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Adhere to all clinic protocols, policies, and health regulations.

Additional Information

  • Required Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
  • DOT certification needed and must be acquired by the provider if not already possessed.
  • Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in North Carolina.
