Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care Needed in NC

Job Description

We are actively seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 75-day assignment starting Mar 11, 2026, with our client in North Carolina. This autonomous role involves working 12-hour shifts on weekdays and weekends, seeing 40+ patients daily across a broad range of urgent care cases, including acute conditions, lacerations, and interpreting EKGs and x-rays for a primarily adult patient population.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Work autonomously within a provider, MA, and front desk business model.
• See 40+ patients during 12-hour shifts.
• Handle urgent care cases including acute care, cold, cough, flu, I&D, suturing, and lacerations.
• Primarily treat an adult patient population.
• Read EKGs and x-rays.

Additional Information

• EMR: Epic
• Schedule: 8 AM - 8 PM on weekdays, 8 AM - 4 PM on weekends
