Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care Needed in NC

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care services to adult and pediatric patients, performing minor procedures, and managing a busy patient load during typical 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive urgent care to adult and pediatric patients, including those 6 months and older.
• Perform minor procedures such as incision and drainage (I&D), laceration repair, and ear irrigation.
• Manage a daily patient volume of up to 40 patients, depending on the site.
• Collaborate effectively with a dedicated support staff, including Center Managers, Medical Assistants, PSAs, Urgent Care Technicians, and Supervising Physicians.
