Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This role offers the opportunity to provide critical care in a dynamic urgent care setting, beginning in mid-July. The successful candidate will be involved in procedures such as sutures, splinting, and the management of superficial wounds, among other duties.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform sutures, splinting, and drainages
  • Provide general superficial wound care
  • Conduct removal of foreign bodies and joint injections
  • Administer occipital nerve blocks
  • Utilize Epic EMR system to document patient interactions

Additional Information
  • Required Board Certification: Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP)
  • Must have urgent care experience
  • Necessary certifications: Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Must be licensed in Oregon
