Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens opportunity in Oregon. This assignment begins on Jan 19, 2026, for a 120-day period, working Monday through Thursday, 8am-6pm, with 10-hour day shifts. The ideal candidate must possess urgent care experience and hold current Oregon licensure, as well as the required board certifications.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform suturing, splinting, and drainages
  • Provide general superficial wound care
  • Remove foreign bodies
  • Administer joint injections and occipital nerve blocks

Additional Information
  • Must have urgent care experience; family practice experience is not considered
  • Current Oregon license required
  • Must hold Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) and Urgent Care certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
