Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Oregon. This opportunity begins on Nov 26, 2025, and spans 28 days, with 12-hour day shifts and flexible scheduling across multiple locations. Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the sole provider during 12-hour urgent care shifts, managing 30-40 patients per day
- Perform basic urgent care procedures competently and independently
- Float between locations as needed (sites are within 10-20 minutes of each other)
- Deliver patient assessments, diagnosis, and treatment consistent with urgent care standards
- Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient and quality care delivery
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Uphold all applicable clinical protocols and safety standards
Additional Information
- Minimum of two recent years of urgent care experience required
- Must hold an active Oregon Nurse Practitioner license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Must be comfortable with floating between multiple locations
