We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Texas. This 36-day contract starts on Jan 9, 2026, and offers a flexible schedule with available AM, PM, and extended shifts. The provider must be ready to independently manage a full spectrum of urgent care cases without clinical training.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Independently assess, diagnose, and treat a broad range of urgent care cases
  • Perform urgent care procedures as required for all patient presentations
  • Manage patient flow as the sole provider on shift
  • Ensure timely completion of patient charts by end of each shift
  • Adapt quickly to a dynamic clinical environment with no provided training

Additional Information
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent urgent care experience required
  • Must hold a current Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a solo provider setting
