Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care Needed in TX

Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join our client's team in Texas for a 6-day assignment starting Mar 10, 2026. This role involves working 8:30am - 7pm shifts in a 2-provider clinic, with a focus on treating a wide range of urgent care cases such as colds, strep, UTIs, and minor injuries, including being the sole provider for a portion of each day.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive urgent care for cases including colds, strep throat, UTIs, medication refills, broken bones, splints, physicals, sutures, toe nail removal, lacerations, and IUD procedures.
• Interpret and read x-rays.
• Operate within a 2-provider clinic setting, functioning as the standalone provider for approximately half of each day due to the permanent provider working part-time.
