Job Description
We are seeking an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a 39-day assignment starting May 8, 2026, with our client in Texas. This role involves providing comprehensive urgent care, including various in-office procedures and potentially occupational medicine services. The schedule offers both AM (8am-4pm) and PM (3pm-11pm) shifts, and the selected professional will be expected to manage a diverse patient load as the sole provider, ensuring all charts are closed by the end of each shift.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Be ready to manage all urgent care cases and procedures immediately, without clinical training.
- Serve as the sole provider for the facility.
- Ensure all patient charts are closed by the end of each shift.
- Address B&B urgent care cases.
- Perform in-office procedures, including Incision and Drainage (I&D), sutures, foreign body removal, and toenail removal.
- Provide occupational medicine services such as workplace injury evaluations and drug testing, where applicable.
