Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as the sole provider in an urgent care clinic setting
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a full spectrum of urgent care cases for patients of all ages
- Perform procedures including suturing and splinting
- Manage patient flow to accommodate variable daily volumes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure high standards of patient care and safety
- Adhere to clinic protocols and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
- Current or recent experience in urgent care required
- Must be comfortable working independently as the only provider
- Experience with suturing and splinting required
- Ability to see all age groups
- Must have a Washington state license
- Clean background required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP) and Urgent Care board certifications required
- Experience handling 20-30 patients per day preferred
- 6-month assignment ideal; minimum 4-month commitment considered
